I am currently the Director of Emerging Channels at
Visa Canada and I serve as an advisor to a number of
early-stage IT companies at the University of Toronto's
Innovations Foundation Exceler@tor. Prior to that, I
was the Vice President of Product Development and a
founding partner of CertaPay Inc., an online money transfer
service which was acquired by Canadas five major
banks. Before conceiving of CertaPay, I worked at TD
CanadaTrust where I launched a number of the Bank's
award-winning online banking services. After graduating
from UofT with a degree in Civil Engineering in 1992,
I went on to complete a political science degree from
York University and an MSc. from the London School of
Economics.
I am delighted to be involved in the campaign for the
Wolfond Centre. I have many fond memories of my years
at the University of Toronto and much of that revolved
around the former JSU building on Spadina. In these
uncertain times, I believe that a state-of-the-art facility
like the Wolfond Centre will drastically improve the
quality of Jewish life at the center of one of Canada's
most important campuses.
