Exam Loot Bags

Written by Rob Nagus, Director, Queen’s Hillel

First semester ended on a high note, all due to our amazing team of student leaders. Just before exam time, the Israel on Campus Executive thought it would be an ideal opportunity to spread some holiday cheer while educating students about Israel. The team created “Exam Loot Bags” with candy, chocolate and fun facts about Israel. We handed them out all over campus but with a particular focus on the libraries, and study areas, to give students a fun “treat” during exam time. It was a great initiative, spreading good will, well wishes and some Israel education. We handed out over 1000 loot bags to students all over campus, and from diverse backgrounds, and increased the traffic to our social media pages by providing links in our informational handouts. The initiative also further promoted the Hillel and Israel on Campus brands on campus. It was a great initiative with a broad reach and positive outcomes.  The Israel on Campus team is looking forward to building off that success in 2016.
